A bad week for the guys that are good at this (Danny and Matt combined to go 10-18), and a better week for the guys that are bad at this (Andy and I combined to go 14-12). I guess that’s how it goes sometimes.

We’re basically racing the vig to the finish line so far, going 152-138 for 52.41% and a paltry +0.31u on the season. You should not have to bet 300+ games to make a third of a unit back. But hey, at least we’re still in the black.

Last week’s consensus plays went 5-7, moving to 19-16 on the season. A fine way to reduce your outlay and still have fun placing bets on Saturdays.

This week, there are 7 consensus plays. Let’s get into it.

Consensus Picks

First, there is football every day of the week for the next two months, so apologies in advance if some of these games have already been played by the time you read this. It’s a good thing having so much football. Let’s be cool about it.

Andy and Danny are both on six of the seven picks this week, and I’m preventing an additional 3 plays by taking the other side. These two are in lock step. Let’s see how it plays out.

First, Andy and Danny are on NMSU +20, 20.5 at Jax St, UNC +6 vs Georgia Tech, Missouri -27, 27.5 at Umass, Purdue +19.5, 20 at Illinois, Arkansas St +14.5 at Texas St, and Kansas St -3.5, 4 at Colorado. Then, Al and Andy are on Wyoming +1.5, 2. vs SDSU.

I’d also just like to note that we absolutely nailed the service academy over last week. Just wanted to toot our own horn here. Toot toot.
