Winding down...
Last week was the final round of the regular season. As such, I warned that some of these might go sideways, and they did. 1-3. Oh well.
That puts the season long tally at 30-24, good for 55.6%, coming out slightly up.
Just one play this week, as the playoffs begin: North Melbourne -39.5.
The Kangaroos are the best team in the competition and while Hawthorn has played well down the stretch, they’ve beaten up on bad competition and gotten waxed twice, including once to this North Melbourne side just just this past week.
Maybe they can make adjustments to close the 49 point margin they just lost by, but I think it’s more likely that North pours it on this week.
